Can I preserve my white wines?

Postby SoccerMom » Wed Mar 04, '09 12:38 pm

Hello,

A friend who know my penchant for wines recently sent me a link to your site. Your product looks very interesting.

However, I really prefer white wines but I did not see them mentioned anywhere. Is your Wine Saver Home suitable for protecting my whites? How would I keep the wines cool?

I have a bottle of very nice wine I've been saving for a special occasion. But if I can store it using your product, any day after coaching my daughter's soccer team could be a special occasion!

Here's hoping.

Dear Soccer Mom,
Yes, you can use WS HOME to preserve your white and Rose wines.

You can store the entire WS HOME system in a fridge. At only 9 inches wide, less than 6 inches deep and weighing a whopping 4 pounds, it's easiest to keep the entire unit in your fridge, wine cooler or wine cellar to ensure optimum drinking temperature.

The other alternative is to disconnect the bottle from the gas quick connect and store it in an ice bath for a few minutes to chill the wine, reconnect to gas line and pour.... The temperature will keep for a surprising amount of time due to WS HOME's stainless steel construction.

I hope this answers your question....
Thank you for your patience as I endure the learning curve of our NEW discussion forum.

Hi Steve,

Thanks so much for your reply, and for the good news - soccer season will be more fun this year! I think I'll go with storing the unit in my fridge.

Don't worry, I understand learning curves - I'm not the most technical-savvy person in the world. I had to get my daughter to help me create my account and post my question.

Thanks again.
